Discipline needed.

So even though im looking over my journal, and i am doing about 1,5 – 2 hours studying each day, I feel like im lacking the discipline to really make a dent in the thing called CCIE Written. I have not been using google calendar like i should, and it is really bumming me out. I would like to have two 50 mins reading sessions a day, and time to write down my notes at the end of the day.

I am still reading the Internet Routing Architectures book, and it is really good but I still have three other major books that needs reading, namely Developing IP Multicast Networks, Routing TCP/IP Vol. 2 and QoS exam certification guide.

These are 100% required before I make any attempt at the written. My multicast is simply not good enough and my BGP needs to be sharper than it is.

On top of this, I have a list of things that needs more thorough studying, like the SRR feature of 3550 and 3560 switches.

I hope to make my first attempt in late june.

Will update on how reading is going. The discipline needs to be improved in order to meet this goal.
