Status Update:
So in order to be fully transparent about this whole study thing: This week has been a bust!
There, i said it! now i need to do something about it.
So what happened? - Well, for one thing, i was out of the country from Thursday until Saturday (yesterday) with my great coworkers on our annual kick-off trip (it was a great time), and i didnt do much studying monday to wednesday either.
I think the whole automation studying and lack of trying it out in the lab last week, got me a bit distracted from what needs to be done. But i take comfort in the fact, that i at least know what happened and its just a bump in the road.
So for the coming week, will be studying Umbrella and trying it out in the lab as well. On tuesday i have a Cisco Practice lab, where ill be doing CTS + integration between Catalyst Center (DNAC) and Cisco ISE.
Currently Studying:
I started up onn Umbrella today, starting with theory (videos from Labminutes). I contacted our local Security SE from work to see if i can get access to a Demo environment to try out the solution as a whole from my lab.
Theory:
As mentioned, i didnt do much theory this week, but what i did get done was the remainder of the Automation stuff from INE.
Labbing:
No labs on Automation done at all (bit bummed about that), but i try and focus on it from a theory viewpoint. I dont know how much i will be implementing in the real lab anyways.
Labbing Next Week:
Umbrella for sure. I need to have a good grasp on this from all angles.
SAFE Reading:
No Safe Reading at all. Again… Sort of bummed, but it happens.
In Summary:
I guess all i can really do at the moment is to write last week off, and see it as an anomoly in my study progress. I dont have much planned in the coming future, so i should be relatively stable to do what needs to be done.
Short post, but since not much have happened study wise, i will leave it until next week.
Take Care!!
